Founded in 1988 in Oslo, Norway by Bent Holter, who developed the proprietary SoundEngine amplification topology as part of his electrical-engineering studies at the Norwegian Institute of Technology. The company sells products in over 60 countries and has expanded its original SoundEngine design into six additional proprietary technologies.
