Privacy Policy

HiFiSync is operated by Piotr Dziubecki, based in Switzerland. The data controller is reachable at piotr@hifisync.com. This policy is written under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and is aligned with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for visitors based in the EU.

Beta-waitlist signups. When you submit your email on the home page, we store: your email address, a confirmation timestamp (after you click the link), the ISO country code derived from your IP at submission time (no raw IP stored), your browser’s user-agent string, and the time of submission.

Authenticated accounts (dormant for pre-launch). The product’s authenticated routes (/my/*) are not surfaced publicly during pre-launch. If you reach them directly, Supabase Auth stores: email, a derived handle, and an optional display name.

The beta-waitlist email is collected on the basis of your consent: you submit the form, you click the confirmation link, and we email you when the beta opens. We do not use this list for marketing, advertising, or any third-party communication.

Waitlist data is retained until 12 months after public launch, or until you opt out — whichever comes first. Authenticated account data is retained while the account exists.

We do not share, sell, or rent your data. Two service providers process data on our behalf:

• Resend (transactional email). EU/US-located; GDPR DPA in place via their standard terms.
• Supabase (database + authentication). EU-region project; GDPR DPA in place via their standard terms.

We do not run analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking on this site.

You can request access to, correction of, deletion of, portability of, or objection to processing of your data by emailing piotr@hifisync.com. We respond within 30 days.

The pre-launch home page sets no marketing or analytics cookies. Authenticated routes (/my/*) use Supabase Auth session cookies — these are essential for sign-in and are not used for tracking.

If we make material changes, we’ll email confirmed waitlist members and update the “last updated” date above.
